You can reach us through the Contact page.

What if I don’t have insurance?

Self-pay is an available option. We accept all forms of payment. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining expected costs before beginning counseling, in accordance with the No Surprises Act.

What do you charge?

We offer a range of session options tailored to meet your circumstances. If you use insurance for counseling, fees will be based on the reimbursement rate set by your insurance plan. Charged rates are $225 for the initial intake session, $185 per 53+ minute sessions, and $150 for approx. 45-minute sessions.

How do I schedule an appointment?

If you would like to become a client, your first step will be to reach out through one of the methods offered on our Contact page. We will send you a link to complete your intake paperwork and then schedule your first appointment. We offer a free 15-minute consultation if you would like to connect before you decide.

Once you are a client, you will most likely choose a regular timeslot, but you also have the option to request appointments through your patient portal.

Do you offer virtual/telehealth sessions?

Yes. We provide secure online therapy through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform for clients anywhere in Michigan.

What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session is a chance to get comfortable, talk through your goals, and begin sharing your story. You’ll likely discuss:

  • What brought you to therapy

  • Symptoms or struggles you’re experiencing

  • Any previous therapy experience

  • What you hope to work toward

The session will be at your own pace, and guided by an experienced, compassionate therapist. You should only share what you’re comfortable with.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 50–55 minutes.

How often will I need therapy?

This depends on your goals and the nature of what you are navigating. Clients often choose weekly or bi-weekly sessions. We will recommend a rhythm that supports your healing, but the pace is ultimately up to you.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is protected by law and ethical guidelines. Information is only shared when legally required (such as imminent safety concerns or subpoena). You will receive a confidentiality policy before beginning therapy.

Do you offer faith-integrated counseling?

Ashley has academic training in Theology and World Religions and is certified as a multi-faith spiritual director. You are welcome to integrate spirituality if it aligns with your goals. If you prefer a strictly secular approach, that is completely respected.

What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?

That’s normal! Beginning therapy is an act of courage. You’ll be met with compassion and zero judgment. Your pace, your boundaries, and your goals guide the process. Therapy offers space to reflect, renew, and rise to the challenges you choose.

How do I contact you with additional questions?

You can reach out anytime through the Contact page or by emailing/calling the office. We’re happy to help you navigate your next steps.
